Gurnard Youth Development Fund Application Form

 

Background Information:  Gurnard Youth Development Fund has been created to enable cadet members (under 19 years of age) to develop their sailing and give them the opportunity to enter national and international events.  Each application will be individually judged on its own merit by a selection panel.

 

The aim of this form is to:

·       Register interested cadet members of Gurnard Sailing Club who want to be considered for a grant.

·       Provide the Youth Development Fund selectors with sailor contact details and background information in order to make their decisions.

 

Terms and Conditions:

·       Applications must be received at least 2 weeks in advance of an event

·       Red Funnel Ferries are one of the sponsors of the GYDF.  Their contribution is to give £500 worth of free travel on their car ferries.

·       Bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance of the travel date.  There will be no cash equivalents of the ferry fare. 

·       Details of preferred ferry times must be completed on the application form, although no guarantees can be made that those times will be honoured. 

·       Ferry crossings can be booked via Jo Grindley or Gabriella Southwell.

·       A maximum of 80% of the total cost of any one application will be paid for a successful application.
