A long time member of Gurnard Sailing Club, spanning 60 years, Vernon helped shape the club and promote sailing at grass roots, which has benefited so many across decades. Club Open Championship & RS500 Open 6 - 7th July 2024
Summer sailing on The Solent. This is Gurnard SC's celebration of dinghy racing. An open event open to all dinghies of a PY1430 or less. Come and join the largest dinghy fleets on the Island for some exciting racing in The Solent. Expected classes include RS500, RS Feva and various handicap fleets. In 2024 we are being joined by the RS500 Class as part of the Class Association's open events. More »
