Gurnard Bay good number of excited sailors take to water for the first race of the new season. A gusty off-shore breeze proved to be a good challange.
The fast handicap was won by Brett Aarons on his RS100 after Ollie Evans and Toby Atherton suffered a broken mast on their super fast 29er and the rest of the fleet came ashore early. The Olympic Finn helmed by James Downer won the medium handicap from a mix of boats including RS200, Laser and Aeros. Robin and Samuel Leather sailed their RS Feva to victory in the slow handicap ahead of Jack Oswald and Marcus Richter who were only separated by 2 seconds.
