Sailing Update December 2018

This coming Sunday is the final race of the season, the weather has not been kind through the latter part of the year so fingers crossed we get one last race in!

Following the race (or at 1pm if racing is abandoned) will be the Annual prize giving so please come down and support your fellow sailors. Prizes will be awarded for series results, as well as a few special prizes for mini sailors and others!

Lunch will be available with a choice of:

• Homemade Winter vegetable soup
• Turkey & Stuffing or Brie & Cranberry baguette
• Pigs in Blankets!
• Mince pies with brandy butter or yule log
• Coffee & mints

There will be mulled wine and a festive drink for children along with prizes for the best Christmas jumpers.

Finally, a reminder that winter storage for boats is not available this year due to works being carried out on the soft site. Please could all members remove their boats from the site by Monday 17th December. Application forms for a boat site for the 2019 season will be available shortly in the clubhouse or to download from the website. The closing date for applications is Thursday 31st January, applications made after this date will be placed on the waiting list.
