RYA Assistant Dinghy Instructor Course

A weekend course designed to introduce cadet and adult members who can demonstrate good sailing ability, into instructing at the club, with the understanding that they will then contribute to Thursday or Friday evening training sessions. The course runs over a weekend immediately before the training season.  There is a theory session on Friday evening, followed by practical training on Saturday and Sunday.

Open to children aged 14 and above, and adults.

RYA Dinghy Instructor Course

Dinghy instructor courses are provided according to demand and are available to competent sailors aged 16 or above, with Power boat level 2 and RYA first aid qualifications. The course is taught over 6 days and is available to non-members.
